Ep3: Bruce Allen - Unbelievable Storm Simulation in Swimming Pool for Safety Training

Bruce Allen is the only man I have interviewed in who was jumping more than five feet the water in a boiler suit! He had to repeat this exercise again to pass the safety training that is required to join the ship. He also talked about having to ride an upside down raft. It reminds me

just how many diverse skills crew have, and how under estimated we are when we come back to land looking for work.

Bruce was a lighting technician on the Air Tours M/S Seaward with around 800 passengers and then did some work in drydock many years ago and shares stories from what it was like to work on ships over 20 years ago!
